We have a vast array of ministries for you and your family to get involved in or serve with.  Each age group has a variety of opportunities to worship the Lord, study His Word, and serve His cause.

Children's Ministry

Sundays 9:00AM & 10:00AM

In Children’s Church, which takes place during each morning worship for adults, children are invited to glorify God through a time of praise and devotion. Children’s Church also includes small group time that creates a place for Children to grow spiritually through Biblical learning and caring relationships. Our Sunday Small Groups focuses on building the foundational truths in God's Word in each child's heart..

Student Ministry

Sundays 9am, 5pm; Wednesdays 6pm

The Student Ministry is dedicated to help teens develop as more devoted and mature disciples of Christ while partnering with their parents through an intentional focus on building their relationship with Christ, one another, and their church family. Our youth group meets each Sunday morning in the Hangar for class at 9:00am.  On Wednesday nights, students grades 6-12 meet in the Launching Pad (The lower level of the children's wing) for a dynamic time of worship and bible study coupled with times of fellowship. While our student ministry has a number of regularly scheduled activities, our Student Minister is committed to building better one-on-one relationships with teens through attending teens' extracurricular activities and hanging out with them in their local contexts. We believe that this sort of relationship-building is the most important thing we do in achieving our mission and our events are orchestrated to achieve that goal.

College and Career

College and Career Ministry

We've found that those in College and Career are looking for a safe, engaging environment to learn about God while they are away from home.  Our College Ministry is led by adults who are passionate about seeing them learn more about Jesus. You will experience growth and will be surprised with how much you learn as we engage with our in house curriculum walking through the Book of Luke. Those that are in this group experience great fellowship over the Word, in extracurricular events, and in worship!

Small Groups

Small Groups

Weekday mornings and evenings

Small groups are built around men's and women's schedules and purposes. Most mornings there are men's groups that meet at various locations to study the reading plans for the week. The groups are accountability groups as well for those that participate. This is a grass roots beginning and we are excited about the growth we have seen over the past year. We also have a small group beginning to meet in a local in a local mobile home park. We are excited to hear what Jesus is doing in and through our congregation to reach our local community. Jim Collins is setting up many of these groups.

Women's Ministry

Wednesdays 6PM

Women's Ministry is geared with off-campus social interaction and on-campus thought provoking sessions to keep the women of our church in a mindset of wholesome growth and abundant overflow. Our women are often found diving into a great Bible study on Sunday afternoons or planning their next big get-together. Our ministry is driven from Colossians 3:12, and says, "Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, tenderheated mercy, kindness, gentleness, and patience". These words hold the lifesong of the Women's Ministry; as it single-mindedly focuses on developing the whole person in such a manner that the social boundaries of race, gender, age, or marital status could never contain the sum of its unfolding. And whether or not such a life of a Women's Ministry member pours into into their marriage or in satisfaction in being single; it surely will become a part of their lives.

We love ministering to children and families through the Upward Sports Program. We have been offering this ministry in the community for over 15 years and are proudly serving the Lord again this year. We have basketball for grades K-6th grade and cheerleading up through the 6th grade.

It's the time of year again to begin planning and preparing for Upward Basketball and Cheerleading!

Local Ministries

We have many different ministries within the faith family for serving our community and congregation, for example: our Food Pantry serves our community on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month, our Soup Kitchen team serves locally along with partner churches at Hope House to bring warm meals to those without, our Library Team is always creating and presenting new ways to study, read, and grow in faith through literature, resources, and DVD's, and we have our Ceramic Team that meets on Tuesdays. Farmstead has many ways you may get plugged into service and fellowship right away. Come and join us!
